Yeleta Tech was recently approached by a valued customer who needed their intranet portal based on SharePoint Server 2010 to be efficiently migrated to Microsoft365. The request was to transfer all of the site's existing content, including every version of documents and metadata to the cloud. Additionally, the customer prioritized the migration of their security groups while maintaining their preferred permissions model in their new Office 365 solution. After a thorough examination of the Customer's specifications, the team of Yeleta Tech proceeded with implementing a cloud-based solution on Microsoft 365's SharePoint Online platform, without relying on customizations or third-party integrations. The project was organized into three distinct phases;
- The verification of the Customer's on-premises environment, the setup of SharePoint Online for data migration,

Our commitment to making the migration process as seamless as possible led us to develop a specialized console application. Using this tool, we conducted multiple pilot migrations to confirm the integrity of all transferred data, including content, document versions, metadata, security groups, and permissions.
