The primary obstacle that our esteemed customer faced was ineffective internal collaboration within their organization. This challenge mainly resulted from the absence of a central project and task management system along with the inadequate transparency of business operations. The employees also lacked online access to the company's content management system and knowledge base, which further impeded their performance by requiring them to dedicate extensive time to repetitive tasks. In light of these challenges, our client required a robust and dependable solution that would enable them to establish efficient employee communication and collaboration across the entire organization. Additionally, it was imperative that the solution adhered to the highest standards of enterprise-level security and regulatory compliance.



Solution

Yeleta's team of SharePoint experts conducted a thorough analysis of the Customer's business needs and subsequently suggested the creation of an enterprise business portal in SharePoint Online. Our team of specialists transformed the solution requirements to deliver an enterprise portal which caters to all the needs of our customer. The portal supports functionality like enterprise search, content management and automatic metadata extraction for image files. In order to enhance internal collaboration and communication, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Planner were integrated with the portal, leveraging the capabilities of the Office 365 suite.

Our SharePoint professionals have ensured that the portal is compliant with data security and regulatory requirements by providing permission-based user access to the enterprise portal's content.

All users are classified into three groups: Viewers, Contributors, and Supervisors, each with different levels of access.

The enterprise portal is divided into four key sections: Home Page, Teams, Knowledge Base, and Contacts.

  • The Home Pageprovides information about corporate events, news & announcements, action buttons for employee recognition or supply ordering
  • compliance tile for navigation to the Compliance storage containing training and disaster recovery documents.
  • The Teams section provides separate pages for different departments in the firm, each tailored to the needs of the corresponding department.
  • The Knowledge Base section serves as the firm's repository for storing and sharing its collective knowledge,
  • The Contacts section displays all the firm's employees with their personal and contact information, enabling direct communication with them.
